Our Church
There's a little country church beside a country road in Nash County, east of Zebulon, N.C. Just a quaint farming community with so much love that there's no place on earth you had rather be.
The church was established in 1936 when a group of concerned people had a dream for a place to worship, fellowship and pray. That is when Union Hope Church came on the scene.
With a $75 dollar purchase of the old schoolhouse, hard work, much prayer and blessings from above, the dream for a place of worship came true for families, friends and a community of love.
The congregation has a bond that is united and strong. When the storms of life bring trouble and sorrow our way we are bound by love and strength from above and Jesus Christ to guide us every day.
The old Church was torn down and a new Church was put in its place. Changes have brought new meaning to our lives, but time still marches on and it waits for no one. But with God by our side we will survive.
God has been good to Union Hope Baptist Church, pouring blessings on it and the community each day. Our little church has a purpose in this big wide world, to witness and proclaim that God is The Only Way.
